The Sitwalk LegEX is a passive exercise machine that encourages good circulation, and joint mobility. It can be used from the comfort of your chair or sofa, improving your range of motion and circulation whilst you are working, reading or watching TV.
Getting up and walking around is something most people take for granted but if you are struggling with your mobility due to injury, illness or problems with your joints, the SitWalk can help you get back on your feet.
How it works
Passive exercise is a simple and effective way to keep your legs active and maintain joint mobility and stimulates blood flow. The SitWalk is specifically designed to increase the range of motion and improve circulation by using gentle repetitive back and forth movement without putting too much strain on the body. The device is ideal for anyone having both short term and long term mobility issues including people recovering from leg or knee surgery (We always recommend consulting a healthcare professional to ensure that this device will be safe for you to use).
How to use the SitWalk
Place the SitWalk in front of the sofa or a comfortable chair, sit down and place both feet on the footplates.
Select your preferred setting using the switch on the side of the device or the remote control. We recommend beginning on level one and working your way up. The best speed for you will depend on your current mobility and if you have any leg or foot pain.
We recommend using the SitWalk once a day for about 20 minutes, but it is perfectly safe to use more frequently or for longer periods if you’d like.
Remote controlled
The remote allows the user to control the SitWalk with out having to reach down to use the switch on the device.
Please ensure you have chosen the correct buying option if you would like a remote.
Adjustable legs
You can adjust the SitWalk to a comfortable hight and tilt to suit you sitting position using the legs underneath the device. This can also alter the way the footplates move your legs meaning you can get a greater range of motion.
Power Supply
The Sitwalk comes with a 24v AC adapter (175cm).
The device must be plugged in when in use, but we recommend unplugging the machine after each use.
Motor - 14v wattage.
